Opportunities for Community
Service:
As part
of our “Giving Back to the Community” commitment, the Western Michigan
Chapter of CFMA would like to collect items to send to military
personnel. This will be an ongoing project thru our last Membership
meeting in May of 2008. A box will be at each meeting designated for
gathering items. When there is enough for a package, one will be sent.
Hopefully we can send one every month or two.
Each November we collect toys for Toys For Tots. Please bring
any donations to
our November General Membership Meeting. There is an opportunity
to help with the distribution of these in December. Watch for
emails in November and December for more information.
Our Chapter teamed up with the NAWIC Grand Rapids Chapter #
194 for the 2007 Relay For Life of Byron Center. We challenged
our members to see who could raise more money for this good cause - our
general members or our associate members.
If you have an idea or suggestion of another
